Fill and launch of CNSP-11 (K6RPT-11) that crossed USA and Atlantic Ocean. Launch point was San Jose, CA (Precision Tune Auto Care at hwy 85 and Almaden Expwy), landing was Mediterranean Sea about 66 miles north of Algeria. CNSP-11 makes Transcontinental Transatlantic International Flight of 6,236 miles.

Payload shown in early in video was the second payload (K6RPT-14) but K6RPT-11 looks the same. This is a basic edit, no special effects, titles, theme music, etc. but you can see overall procedure. And we had larger attendance as this was late Sunday afternoon (12-11-11), most launches are done very early morning. Thanks to Faro of Precision Tune Auto Care for providing garage for fill.

Recovery of K6RPT-12, this was the second floater (last of four launched Sunday afternoon), it came down in Indiana (it did not "crash-land"). I will upload footage of the launch later.

  • HR1ERL Say, A great job for APRS, unconsciously gave up one day, two days later I remembered that it was the same, when he was about Africa, I felt very inspired by what he did RON L MEADOWS K6RPT with balloon K6RPT-11. Congratulations and a big project. DESIRE THAN FIRST, to be several more. If I like to see which was used and transported inside the box.

  • Very interesting video...
