In his 2009 encyclical Caritas in Veritate (Charity in Truth), Pope Benedict XVI reminds us that integral human development requires that moral evaluation and scientific researchgo hand in hand, andcharity must animate them in a harmonious interdisciplinary whole. How do social science, theology, metaphysics and science come together in a collaborative effort in the service of humanity at a Jesuit Catholic university?
