I propose Peace Walker be finished, THEN have a game created with Meryl as the main character.

Only problem: Kojima may not work on a game with Meryl as main character, for slightly obvious reasons: He wouldn't be needed much.

That's true and quite frankly Raiden shouldn't be the only other playable character for Metal Gear Solid games. If I'd make a suggestion for Hideo, I'd put my money on Meryl, giving her a playable mission and story too. You know, pretty much more on finding out how she became a good Soldier, her experiences and such since her first time meeting Solid Snake. In fact a female character would make things interesting and who better than Meryl.
