"The People's Lobby" is a one-minute commercial constructed around the Occupy Columbia creed. Like all our efforts, it was created entirely by volunteers who care deeply about the Occupy movement. Now we need everyone's help to get it up on television.
We are asking people to contribute any amountthey can, to ask friends and family to help, and to share "The People's Lobby" on Facebook and Twitter.
Our goal is to reach an audience that has yet to hear our unfiltered message. We've all come together to speak up against a system that isn't working for the majority of Americans. Bankers took egregious risks, crashed the economy, got bailed out with our money, gave themselves bonuses, and then used that money to influence politics. We are the people's lobby!

I am here today for myself and for others whose voices have been silenced in our current political system.
We the occupiers!
When I was coming up, they told us it was important to be citizens.
I served my country in the United States Marine Corp, and I continue to serve my country.
Declare the political system broken!
We've all come together to speak up against a system that isn't working for the majority of Americans.
Bankers took egregious risks, crashed the economy, got bailed out with our money, gave themselves bonuses, and then used their money to influence politics.
Lobbyists are actually writing some of our legislation.
Government's broken.
I don't know how many lobbyists you have, I don't have any.
We are the people's lobby!
When I vote next year, it will be my first time and I want it to count.
I may not see the end of this, but my granddaughters will and I want it to come out right.
We are the 99%!
