@jimmymagnum07 This die is designed to crimp the barrel and strain sleeve with a single crimp. If you put the lug in from the wrong side the part that is supposed to crimp the strain sleeve crimps the barrel and vis versa. This is guranteed to fail a pull test and potentially compromise the reliability of the system.
Plus the wire was not in the centre of the terminal lug, it was lopsided and when you crimp properly the wire sits in the middle of the crimped lug! It even has the moulded shape of a hole in the middle after you test crimp a lug or bullet/spade terminal!

LOL "good crimp" the insulation was completely collapsed and you put the lug in the wrong way. The wire enters from the dotted side.
