You're supposed to over accentuate ending consonants.

The voices aren't mature enough to sound black. And the they pronounced it witnass. It should be a cross between -ness and a bit of -nuss.

im in 6th grade and we sang this in the winter concert! we were a lot better i must say! taller vowels! and u pronounce "read" as "red"! also the tempo was all wrong!
