WOW. That's all I can say. I was in high school when this came out. I gave the LP to a girlfriend for Christmas. Brings back warm memories. I had never heard the Acapella version until now. There is no point in comparing the talents of Tammi & Marvin to the artist of today. What I heard here was pure and rich vocal talent. No electronics or autotone crap. Listen closely to the foot tapping and the stromming guitar keeping the time in background. Makes me think the vocal track came first.
