NBB 40 When It's For You

Emcee: Let me start by saying congratulations again to the newly weds. *Everyone claps* Alright, as Thomas and Miranda make their way to the dance floor, we have a special treat for everyone. Earlier today, one of Thomas's best friends approached me and asked if he could sing for Thomas and Miranda's first dance.

*At this point, Thomas and Miranda stared at their friends. All of them looked confused and stared at each other trying to figure out who was singing. There was one person, in particular, that just smiled

Emcee: Although, he is part of the bridal party, he has kindly asked if Qaasim Middleton may take his place with his dance partner. *Qaasim was slightly embarrassed but also honored to be called up.* So without further adue, Ladies and gentlemen, Thomas and Miranda's first dance...

*The music started to play. Instantly, a familiar voice flooded the room. Everyone knew exactly who it was. Thomas and Miranda looked to the stage and smiled.

*Nat smiled as he was singing these words. Allie stared at him. In his heart, he wanted to dance with Allie. To hold her again. But in his mind, he knew that she wanted a little space. A sudden emotion drifted over Allie. She didn't know what she was feeling.

Alex: That sly guy did not tell me he was doing this! That jerk
David: He didn't tell anyone about this Alex.
Kristina: Yeah! So calm down
Alex: Well.. pfft...
Teala: Just calm down Alex.. come on... I think it's time we can hit the dance floor
Cooper: Ready Patty?
Patty: Yup
*Each guy held out their arm to take their partner. Kristina still felt uncomfortable with David, but she kept her head held high and took his arm. Allie was still staring at Nat when all of her friends left for the dance floor. It was as if she was caught in his trance. All the anger that she had just melted away

Qaasim: May I have this dance Allie?
*He held out his hand
Allie: *she smiled wearily, looked at Nat and then to Qaasim* I would be honored Qaasim.

Qaasim: You two still haven't patched things up?
Allie: Huh?
Qaasim: Oh come on Allie, you have been staring at him this entire time. You miss him.
Allie: Yeah.. I really do

*Nat caught sight of Allie staring at him. She turned away quickly and blushed. He smiled and kept singing. As he scanned the rest of the dance floor, he saw that Kristina and David were actually having a good time. Thomas and Miranda were the happiest couple in the room right now.

*The song kept playing until it ended. Everyone started to clap. The emcee announced that they will be playing music or a little bit before proceeding with the rest of the events for the night. Nat received praise from many people as he got off stage. Thomas and Miranda went to talk to some of their guests. The rest of the gang all gathered together in the corner.

Allie: Thank you for dancing with me Qaasim
Qaasim: It was my pleasure Allie.
Allie: I think I'm going to talk to Nat again. Be right back
*She left Qaasim
Teala: Hey Qaasim
Qaasim: Hi guys.
Patty: It was great to have you join us on the dance floor
Alex: Have you guys seen Kristina?
Teala: Now that you mention it... David is missing too
Alex: Oooooooooh....
Patty: Maybe they went to go make out!!
Cooper: Hahahah maybe
*They all started to laugh
