an item that freezes well is lasagna. i like to make a really large pan, cut it up into portions and freeze the individual portions. that way, you "always" have something quick to eat. useful if you don't have time to cook dinner, just don't "feel" like cooking one day or don't have time to pull your lunch together. you can just pull a piece of lasagna out and heat it in the microwave like you would any "frozen dinner". no defrosting necessary.

Great tips, a site that I've really enjoyed is fivedollardinners, I picked up the bok in my local grocery store and it always comes in handy. All of the meals cost less than five dollars. One con, flavor, I attempted to make honey yeast rolls, they skimped on the eggs and the rolls seemed preety firm, not like the ones I espceted at all. for the most part though, the recipes give me ideas, also the site has printable grocery shopping lists, etc.

Hi ladies,
Just a tip. Make the packages flat when you put them on the freezer. It saves room and you can stack them better

my mama does that..she freezes some of the left over foods she makes...just like today, yesterday she made crispy chicken and she put the ones she didn't fry in the fridge and today i ate chicken again with mac and cheese :)
