LOL I seriously started singing--"So give a cheer for the orrrrange and blue, waving forrever forever pride of ol' Florrrrida...." :-)

Actually, the funny thing is, that sketch wasn't just about Gator fans, it was about Gator-haters. The circular argument is just funny. I grew up in Florida, am a Gator fan, and I admit we can be a bit obnoxious, but what makes this funny is the posturing on BOTH sides. Haters who think Gator loyalty shrinks when we're losing like to suggest Gators won't have the guts to call up and admit we've stunk. But calling up and calling out is deep-Florida-weird, man.

I'm a Gator fan and I can't get enough of this running gag. Good stuff. But missing the clip where the two (Johnny Knoxville and Tom Sizemore) are walking up the street with stockings on their head and Farina says, "Looks like we got Gator fans."

Man, am I glad to see you. If anything further supports the point of the running gag in this movie, it's your comments. LSU won the BCS National Championship last year, super fan. And Gatorade was first developed at Florida State University, then co-opted by a trainer at UF. Look it up.

@JoBuNYC You couldn't be more wrong. Look at the Gatorade website, it's right there. "In early summer of 1965, a University of Florida assistant coach sat down with a team of university physicians and asked them to determine why so many of his players were being affected by heat and heat related illnesses..."

@intercede007 Yep. And everyone who ever invented something always got the credit for it. Fun with history!
