I have 2 years old pit..she is so beautiful and well trained ..I have never used those collars and I never will ..dogs in general can be trained without them it requires a little more work of course.. and the other hand, Its so wonderful!!! what you are doing for these amazing and beautiful breed...such innocent souls!!!.

This is great! Thanks for sharing. I love my Staffordshire! Pits are the best dogs ever. This is our 3rd and they are such great and loving dogs!

Looks like these dogs are wearing electric collars. So no, not impressed. Quite the opposite, since I have seen dogs achieve much more without needing collars.

@bigBoii851 when i first heard of E-collars i was 100% against them. but like most knee-Jerk reactions (emphasis on JERK) i was wrong. i did some due diligence, actually a lot. The 1st thing I found is most experts are not experts at all. i found through the field & experienced trainers that E-collars in the right hands can be a very effective training tool.

@bigBoii851 we do off leash play and training, and the E-collars are like an invisible long distance lead. I can control my dogs the same at 100 yrds as i do at 1 yrd away. I do not suggest anyone go buy an E-collar & start shocking their dog. I do suggest finding a trainer w E-collar experience.

I remember a time when people considered dog crates cruel (another example of how most people are dumb misinformed parrots repeating what they hear other people say w/out doing 1 minute of research) so crates were cruel and unavailable to the public and unless you were a breeder or best in show they weren't around. I think we all know how effective dog crates are now, You do use crate training don't you?
