  • How can you forget the most important weapons of ww1, the Tank and the airplanes

  • Well nintendofann you must be the mentally deficient one due to the fact that this was all footage from WWI or from WWI movies. The combat in WWI laid the ground work for the combat in WWII.

  • They should make a WW1 videogame FPS, It would be a revolution in the FPS genre...

  • what songs are these?

  • young indy, 1930 version of all quiet on the western front

  • @chwoekje The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

  • @pohatuonuatahu I believe its from Paths to glory by Stanley Kubrick

  • omg actully name them like the vickers and enfield

  • chlorine gas mainly

  • @BF18ACE That´s Strange.

Anyway, i think its more interesting WW2 than WW1.

  • @CSnakeV That is interesting stuff and you don't really have that much of a problem for the language. In any case other bad luck beliefs they had included if you lighted 3 cigarettes or cigars with the same match the last man would be killed and if you dreamed of a motor bus it was a sign of sure death.

They were very superstitious in that war.

  • @BF18ACE Luck it just lasted 4 years.

my favourite pilot its Red Baron, he had skills and guts.

You know that the morning before his death other pilots took a photo of him playing with a dog? For pilots(Of WW1, of couse) if someone took a photo of you before a mission it was bad luck.

PS:Sorry for my bad english :P

  • @CSnakeV Yep, I have actually seen some of the statistics. You literally had a greater chance of becoming a casualty if you fought in World War I at all than if you were a Kamakazi pilot from World War II. Also at 3rd Ypres the cost of the ground gained was literally a soldier's life for every 2 inches of ground captured by the British.

  • @BF18ACE It was a nighmare, you moved 5 feet and you were dead, machineguns everywhere, gas nades, and the flamethrower (yea, i know it was in WW2, but anyway) this war was a beggining for WW2

  • @xXKahoticXx Yeah, also countries they trained had the Pickhaulbe helmets as well I Believe it is also traditional wear of Argentina's military for example.

  • @colbertLOTR91 Well to be fair the Airplane was used in combat as early as the Italo-Turkish war of 1911 which predates World War I by a few years.

  • @CSnakeV Very true, especially at 3rd Ypres.

  • worser war ever

  • @colbertLOTR91 hes talking bout small arms

  • @VikingWeigand Just for ceremonial purposes and I think it was part of their traditional uniform

  • why did the germans have those spike things on their helmets?

  • Please I want a ww1game

  • @TheTobyKing well at close combat a shovel is your best option, just ask any russian soldier, it´s their official close combat weapon

  • @systematicchaos8

It is taken from the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles - Episode 1, I believe.

  • @pohatuonuatahu

This gas clip is from the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

  • preferred weapon of the defending trench: machine gun preferred weapon of the attackers : shovels. and im not even kidding yes shovels

  • They should make a cod about WW1
