@Xlyn No worries dude...That was three years ago...sometimes I forget what i've posted until someone comments. I've listened to some of the cover stuff on here...its always good for a laugh haha. You wonder if they really ever heard the original. You should check out some of my original stuff...I will send you a message since you cant post links on here. You've got a pretty good voice yourself...Keep it up!

Check out 'Once in a Lifetime Love' by jamala22 and read some of the comments... Are you serious?! LOL! Dude, I am sorry, but by the time I saw your video I had already watched about 100 of these and seeing your comment just got me to reply. Sorry if I offended you (I'm laughing thinking of this video I linked to you...LOL). Anyways I hope we're cool and I hope you continue to play and post. You're miles above most. (I couldn't post the link for some reason)

I agree, re-arranging a song is hardly a shortcoming or fault; if anything I believe it makes you a better artist to not only know your voice but to know how to make the music accompany it. Seriously, kudos. I didn't mean to offend you, you have more talent than a lot of the tone-deaf yahoos that somehow get 200k views and praises like they were the 'next KU' - unreal. Saying 'the half step fits my range a little better' is so much more becoming than bringing up your sniffles (an excuse).

@69curlss mate...u used that alot...lol...;)

Sound like the capo fits better with his voice on the first fret, but i agree I am used to playing on the second fret as well.
-
move capo to second fret man..other then that great job
-
very nice
Hey there flappy....yeah totally agree about the 2nd fret...I was just recovering from a really bad flu and couldnt handle the half step higher that day haha.

So, no offense, but why would you post it then? Why not wait a few days, recover completely, then post your best? You're doing the same thing that seemingly everyone else who posts something that isn't perfect do: blame your shortcomings and faults on something other than what they are - shortcomings and faults. You did a decent job but if you want to be taken seriously then you gotta take criticism without excuses. Nobody's perfect, especially those chasing dreams on here - just post your best.

@Xlyn First of all I dont think taking a song down a half step is a "shortcoming" of "fauIt". I wasnt making excuses. I was just answering to the comment about it being in a different key than the original. Even when I'm not sick, the half step fits my range a little better. I probably could have waited a few days but the truth was the camera was recording on that day. It was an impromptu performance and I dont take myself so seriously to point of not singing cuz I have the sniffles.
