I fell asleep waiting on him to get past tuning his guitar... and talk about crappy tone. I could go get a guitar from Kmart, plug it into an old radio, and get a better sound than that.

I have been able to play this song since it was popular, still on MTV and maybe the radio. It took me less time to learn the whole song by ear than it did to watch the learn the intro lesson here.

Lynch and Pilson played tuned to Eb, 1/2 step down.
The production for Under Lock and Key screwed with that , and what's on the record is somewhere between E and Eb. Not sure if they pitch-shifted everything to help Don's range or if they sped it up because Mick's tempo was a bit slow.

Dokken always tuned to E flat..1/2 step down....I worked on their road crew.
