I had a dream, where I walked into a music/guitar shop to get out of the rain, and Sonic Youth was there. Thurston told me to pick up a guitar and he started playing the intro to this song. I timidly tried to play along with him. Felt very real and intimidating. This was a couple years ago, and I've always remembered it as if I just woke up from the dream.
ps I just realized the "rain" reference in the song. Can't believe I didn't pick up on that before.
