I love when idiots read WAY too much into everything Kurt ever said and did. Anyone notice how, during years of touring, they never broke anything truly expensive? Hell, He'd often switch guitars for the last song of the set, knowing he was going to be breaking it. I think Daves answer on the whole instrument smashing bit was the most honest..."So we don't have to do an encore"

I think he's fed up in general with the audiences that the band was attracting to their shows. He spits at the camera and claps his hands sarcastically at the audience as if to say "you don't really like our music. you're just sheep clinging on to the bandwagon because everyone else is" He seems soo pissed at the audience before he walks away, its almost scary
