When I was 6 years old (43 years ago) my grandma's neighbor had a beige GS named Corky. Us kids could crawl on top of it, take its food and wrestle it to the ground. Never even a growl. Gentlest animal on Earth...despite being big enough for a saddle and could have eaten any of us in two swallows.
German shepherds are easily the greatest animal (dog or otherwise) on the planet. I will place my life in the paws of a GS before a human any day. They are loyalty personified.

cute.. but its not just german shepherds ..all dogs r like that ..especially with their owners.. only to a stranger they seem dangerous.. a pitt or a rottie or any dog wud react the same.. they r plain and simple... btw thats a big dog.. :)

You have such a gorgeous dog! I'd love a long haired shepherd especially one as lovely as yours, where did you get him? A breeder in Ireland e.g.?

we actually got him from a breeder in turkey. he is german working lines, and his father is an explosives detection dog
