  • I appreciate your input. This is the nonturbo car, so the torque is much lower than the GT-3. Anyone who has driven a low torque, low weight car knows that you can only accelerate out of the corners at your own speed. If you are forced to follow someone at THEIR speed, you are limited by that.

    Thanks again,

    Chris

  • My line and the Porsche in front of me are two different strategies. I was trying to show myself to his mirrors as much as possible, trying to affect a mistake on his part.

  • Nice! What was the adjustment at about 2:49 of the vid? Brake bias?

  • Yes, brake bias adjustment. Unfortunately, the right rear brake line was not properly secured during adjustments in the morning, and it decided that the exhaust was a good place to come to rest.

  • Thank you. We have since added a Garrett G35 turbo to the car and are making 400 hp at 10 lbs of boost. There is a bit of video on You Tube with the new car at Sebring. More to come.

  • Then you must understand how on a track with 4 significantly long straights, a car with over twice the torque would be able to outaccelerate the D962R. Put the car on a twisty track, however, and there would be no comparison.

  • The drive is good.

  • @csdiasio Isn't the GT3 N/A as well?

  • Great line. You used the whole track width.

  • Do you guys sell bodies and build rights? I would love to get one of these but I think I would enjoy building it myself since I have the tools and skills to do so.

  • Looks like the Diasio out corners and out brakes the Porsche but the porsche just walks away from it in the straight. Not to knock Chris's driving but it didn't look like he was even attempting to utilize the draft off the Porsche

  • Rotary Renesis Power, great!!!

  • try racing the track in forza 2, its exactly the same track, bumps and all

  • Great video, my only complaint was that it ended before i got to see you take down that GT3.

  • Nice video, looks like the 962r cornered way harder but the Porsche had a ton of HP in the straights he never made a big bobble though so he drove well also.
