Austin's Parks and Recreation Thriller "Rock Your Park" Flash Mob is held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM sharp on the Great Lawn of Zilker Park.
***PLEASE PARTICIPATE TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN'S PARKS, CULTURAL AND RECREATION CENTERS!
In celebration of "Parks & Recreation Month" this July, the Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a "Flash Mob" event that will be judged by the National Recreation and Park Association. The goal is to provide an event that not only educates Austin Parks and Recreation Summer Camp participants about Flash Mobs, but also emphasizes the importance of green space and community involvement. NRPA will choose a park and recreation agency, within the USA, as the winner of the competition.
