  • But the term son of God, is misleading! From a logical point of view if I am the son of God, who is the father of God? That is a common sensical question!

So even though behind the term, I understand its meaning, the term itself is an logical oxymoron...

  • The major difference between Christianity and other religions is that: Christians can go to heaven through faith in Jesus Christ. However, other religions believe that you can buy your way into heaven through good deeds... That is not POSSIBLE! no one is good enough for God!!! being saved is a gift from God not something that a human being can achieve by themselves! Of course once you have faith in Jesus, good deeds, will automatically appear!!!

  • @Baxary; it's not a 'common sensical question,' considering it is predicated upon a categorical error that fails to incorporate logical distinctions that are, in themselves based upon, independent divine natures that coexist. Peace and blessings :)

  • Coming from a Christian's perspective, it's refreshing to hear a cordial, sensible person talk about Islam.

It's strikingly different (and much less frustrating) than a Christian talking to, say, a Mormon, who often speak in bizarre, illogical ways.

  • Sheikh Shabir is the man.

Dr. Craig's presentation was great too.

  • Romans 6:16-22 (Continues after statment) If you say you are not the Slaves of God (ignatei) and only the Friends and Children of God then you are contradicting the Bible you believe in. You are totally missing the point in what the Message of Islam truly is. Peace!

  • 16Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

  • 19 I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. 20When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

  • 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

  • When I say children, I don't mean in the same sense that humans biologically reproduce.God made us and loves us, in that sense we are his children. I hear MANY Muslims say we are the slaves or servants of God. But we consider God our heavenly Father; our relationship with God is more intimate. And Jesus said: Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

  • He Dose not Have Children ignatei. This belongs to the lower level functions of Sex.
