i think this was when silverchair had finally found their sound, their place, and own signature as a recogniseable band, indeed.

Before he sings 'Point of View' he says it was recorded for Channel V, thats an Aussie music station. i guess it was just aired on tv. Iv tried looking for the full concert footage, but these clips are as close as i can get. Hope that helped

I have to agree here.

Frogstomp was heavily grunge-influence (but then, all music borrows from other music, although Frogstomp/grunge was pronounced), but Freak Show's grunge influence was minimal.

I really firmly believe, they all came from the same musicial influences, which is why they all have the same raw sound. If people know anything about grunge...they would understand. Not putting anyone down, but i'm a huge huge Kurt fan, but at the same time, i've been in love with silverchair since Frog Stomp came out. So, basically...you can't really compare to musicians, each have their talents, and flaws. So just sit back, and enjoy the amazing music of the grunge era =)
