Matt Hansen takes driver and carries it 257 yds over water to land on the green like a wedge shot at the par 4 15th, The Dominion Club, Richmond, Virginia during the first round of the 2008 Henrico County Open. 24th. Apr 2008

"The Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Va. features a golf course designed by renowned golfer Curtis Strange, one of the world's top golfers, 2002 Ryder Cup Captain and two-time U.S. Open Champion. The 18 Hole Championship Course takes advantage of the land's extensive natural features, resulting in one of the most visually exciting and challenging golf courses in the mid-Atlantic region. The 9th and 18th holes with lakeside greens provide a spectacular finish to each nine."

  • @madjsp ur an idiot he only pro i no hits down with a driver is catrina matthews and she is specifically working hard to not do tht to get more hards and control the accuracy

  • gay title you ass face

  • @FullTimeHypocrite that does make sense good sir! don't think i'll be trying it any time soon seeing as i cannot drive... or have a driver for that matter =| =( LOL!

  • @Thebrainrahul tee up low for extra spin but itll cost you distance

  • Incredible shot!!!

No, it's not a 350 yard bomb, but that's not the goddamn point!

To control a driver off the tee with that kind of pinpoint accuracy and control of ball flight and shot shape -- with a giant pond in front of the green staring you down screaming "keep out" no less -- is really amazing! Much more impressive than a huge straight drive rolling down the middle of a fairway.

  • @madjsp your are brain dead.

  • Nice shot! Not sure what the source of the irritation is - the little thumbnail clearly shows the guy with a wood in his hands.

  • =| how did he manage to stop that ball dead with a driver =|

  • @MFS357 you wouldn't get any carry if there were no backspin at all

  • @madjsp If the clubs attack angle is parallel to the ground, the loft on the driver will create spin. High launch low spin is ideal.
