Title: 死神と少女
Romanji: Shinigami to Shoujo

Song: Il Dio della Morte e La Fanciulla
Artist: love solfege
(it's the opera sounding part of the PV)

Producer: Takuyo
Artwork By: すみ兵
Type: Otome Game (because really, what else do I post about)
Console: PSP

Summary: You play as Tohno Sayo, a girl who meets a shinigami (death god) named Ao who's lost his memories. There exist two worlds in this game, the real world and a world related to the picture book in the game.
"A Shinigami who has lost his memories and one beautiful young girl meet, under a clock tower where time has stopped..."

Anyways, Takuyo's artwork has leveled up by like a bazillion in this game lol I've been anticipating this game since last year... and let me tell you I am EXCITED!!! I love Takuyo's games, they're fun and amusing and the heroines are almost always really likeable. Gorgeous artwork, dark undertones, and a fabulous opening by love solfege? I am so getting this. Whether I have to play it by emu or buy a PSP, I don't care lol I am getting this!!!

  • how come we don't have games like this in america???!!!???

  • @seaa2 Haha well the Hakuouki game for PSP is coming to america so maybe we'll see some great otome games like the ones from Takuyo come out in america!!! :D

  • @Darkbeauty75 But, is Hakuouki getting new voiceovers as well?

  • @BohemianScandalous Nope, the original Japanese voices are being kept I'm pretty sure. :)

  • I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANNA PLAY THIS GAME DDD:< I am seriously thinking about learning Japanese now...not that I haven't been wanting to learn it FOREVER but now this game's REALLY got me motivated :D!!! You obviously know Japanese because you have played this game right? (lol that was stupid) Anyway could you maybe tell me how you were able to learn Jap and give me a few pointers??? ^w^" That would be seriously helpful! THANKS! <333

  • @ticklemepink200 Ahaha it's kind of hard for me to give you pointers, because I'm Chinese so learning Japanese came pretty easily to me (all the kanji translates exactly the same meaning wise, just different pronunciations and of course conjugating etc. etc. sometimes I read stuff in Chinese herpderp lmfao) but katakana and hiragana are pretty easy, I'd print a chart out or something to keep handy at all times when you play, that's what I did at first!

  • HHNNGGHH!! i wish i can speak japanese so i can play all these sexy otome games >:U

  • @TheChocoKitsune LOL Hey, why do you think I started? XD LOL

  • @ShoujoNihonjin Oh gosh, the game is VERY long. Like, I'm pretty sure some single chapters in this game rival QuinRose's FULL games.... and those games are LONG. I would definitely not recommend this if your Japanese is at the beginner's level. As for visual novels, are you strictly speaking of otome games? It's like all I play :P LOL but yeah if you want otoge I might be able to recommend you some PC titles, haha

  • @Darkbeauty75 How much japanese is needed? I know hiragana and katakana (no kanji) and very very basic words and phrases (like, dislike, excuse me, etc). If I can't play this, can you think of any visual novels (ex. Gyakuten Saiban) that are fully billingual? Thanks!
