my trainers style is different than any ive seen but like wed make sure we could run a whole course b4 we added bars and idk y... she did that with the bc's too haha

Yes, Marq is a big dog so I started higher. For a small dog it would start with much lower. Though I wouldn't suggest no bar at all. I'd just suggest a very low jump.

I started with no bar then worked my way up, but then again stella wasnt as big as marq and stellas training kinda stuck with me lol

Yes, he's my show dog that came to me not even knowing sit but is now doing agility and obedience.
When you first start out, start a ta very low jump height For a big dog like Marq I started at 12".

I tried to get my dog to do jumps kinda how you did where I went to the other side with the treat, she just went around it lol.

I made them myself out of PVC. MUCH cheaper than purchasing them already made.

it is the white material that you see the jump made up of. It's plastic.. called PVC piping.
