@jaffabeans Well okay, I guess I was kind of broad with my comment. Electric music can be done right. When I was younger I was obsessed with Daft Punk. Though, you point out that underground music in your comment, and I'm usually okay with that. It's the mainstream stuff that I really don't care about. It's all boring, or not pleasing to the ears at all. It's just there to be there and make money, and that's what kind of disappoints me.

@bryguy2049 haha why not ? The underground music scene is all about electronic music and has been for the past few years, just check out Rinse FM/ BBC1 Xtra. Check out Burial, and Maya jane coles. Also there are some great new guitar based artists like Caribou/metronomy/goyte. Obviously this is all opinion, but joy division and the velvet underground where almost completely disregarded back in thier zeitgast and only with hindsight and years they became realised.

@jaffabeans I refuse to share that part of my generation of music with my kids (when I get them). I've tried my hardest to listen to dubstep and electronic music, but I can't hear anything musically pleasing in those songs. Yuck is a band I'd be proud of showing my kids, saying "In my day there were some great bands that emerged from the ashes of the old, continuing their legacy in the greatest ways: by creating music with inspiration from them."

Yuck are so great they've got such a different sound and great ideas, so looking foward to there next album!

@PurpleScreech I love yuck and alot of new music but we alread have our own generation of music in Dubstep/electronic music.
