Spider Fighting in the Philippines

In tagaytay city, south of Manila in the Philippines, video games are unknown to the locales; instead, live spiders are used for fighting for fun, sport and gamble. Here, some local kids enjoyed showing me how it's done, with spiders taken from the tropical rain forest around Taal lake. Very interesting!
