  • LOL Moog action figure! holy crap awesome

  • I'm his student now at EIU and i have to say that he's got such an abundance of knowledge that i can't help but be sucked in by his love for the art and his funny and dry sense of humor. he's a hell of a guy and i just want to say

    THANKS, MARK RUBEL!

  • My band recorded an album with Mark back in 2005/06 and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Just hanging out chatting with Mark was an amazing trip. We all had a great time and Mark is an amazing producer.

  • I too was a student in Marks Class. He's such a wealth of knowledge and has the perfect demeanor. He also is accessible through email for gear chat. I caanot say enough good things about him.

    Thanks Mark!!!

  • I was a student of Mark's as well, and he is excellent. I was having a tough time figuring out how to get started after I graduated college, and he had lunch with me, and helped me figure things out. Not only is he a great engineer, he's a great resource for figuring out how to earn a living in the music industry. Even though I don't know him very well on a personal level, he's had a huge impact on me....

  • i was a former student for Rubel....Great teacher and if you want to learn to do Recording engineering or miking instruments and doing live sound ...the best is in Champaign Il

  • A superb tour and a superb tour guide. Mark, you make CU proud of you! Keep on bringing us the music!

  • Very cool interview with Mark. It's really nice to see someone who cares this much about music and people. I've recently heard one of his recordings and it was Amazing, to say the least! all the best, Chris
