***Read this before attempting dual boot***
This tutorial shows you how to set up dual boot. Sorry for the static, It is VERY hard for me to get no static on vista for some stupid reason. The easiest way to set up a dual boot is to install two hard drives in your computer. KEEP THE HARD DRIVES IN! You can install a OS per hard drive or partition a hard drive and install the operating systems on different partitions. It depends on what os's you are installing. The following is the order in which you should install the os's. The os that appears earlier in the list should be installed first. XP,VISTA,LINUX. Comment the video please. • do you have to buy another hard drive?

  • You don't have to, but it is a lot easier to set up dual/multi boot with multiple hard drives.

  • how did you get two hard drives?

  • newegg(dot)com

  • if you have a pc with vista preinstalled and your wanting to dual boot to 2 hard drives how can you do it?, i dont have the vista cd, so can i still install XP on the second hard drive?

  • You could install xp on the second drive but you would have to switch the primary hard drive in bios each time you would want to switch Operating Systems.
