Artist Biography: New age guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Medwyn Goodall was born in Yorkshire, England; inspired by the hits of the Beatles and the Beach Boys, he began playing music as a child, and at 11 met pop superstar Cliff Richard, who encouraged the youth to pursue a career as a performer. Goodall began composing original songs as a teen, earning local notoriety with his band Trax; in the years to follow, he learned to play a vast range of instruments, including mandolin, piano, drums, harp, flute, glockenspiel, panpipes, vibraphone and synthesizer, and cut his first album at age 16. Following a year at art college, Goodall opened his own recording studio, producing artists spanning from classical ensembles to punk bands; inspired by the natural world, he began creating his own environmental instrumental music, releasing his debut album Angel Sleep on the New World Music label in 1989 and remaining a highly prolific artist throughout the decade to follow.

Video: 3D Isfahan Architecture
This piece has been inspired by different examples of Persian Architecture in Isfahan.
Isfahan or Esfahan (Persian: اصفهان Esfahān, Old Persian: Aspadāna, Middle Persian: Spahān), historically also rendered in English as Ispahan or Hispahan, is located about 340 km south of Tehran and is the capital of Isfahan Province and Iran's third largest city (after Tehran and Mashhad).
The architecture of Isfahan is made up of eight traditional forms which taken together form the foundation in the same way that music was once based on a finite number of notes. These are modulated by the use of colors and textures to leaven the surfaces and are held together in an overall construction akin to that of a sonata in which connection leads to culmination through a transition space. To appreciate the skill of the architects and designers fully, it is necessary to have an appreciation of these fundamental concepts, i.e., garden, platform, porch, gateway, dome, arched chamber, and minaret, although in the geometry and architecture of the buildings they are woven together to present a seamless whole.
The present 3D architecture is a loose interpretation, because the producer (Cristóbal Vila: http://www.youtube.com/user/etereaestudios ) did not set out to reproduce any specific, well-known building. He gleaned ideas and concepts from here and there, mainly from different temples located in the Iranian city of Isfahan. The main dome is modeled on the structure of the "Moder-É Shan". The pillars and vaults are inspired by the "Mosque of Iman" but the ornamentation is madeup.
Stunning 3D modelling and animation with beautiful and pefectly matched music - thanks for sharing, it was a pleasure to enjoy :-)
