@quad2004 Well, if it was an undeveloped region, new fiber would have to be run and maintained. Distance counts for a lot in the bandwidth industry. Metropolitan areas get the best deals and perks. The price could have been wrong or it could have been a point to point connection opposed to Internet. Point to point connections can be extremely pricey.
