i tryed to install ubuntu 11.04 onto virtualbox 4.0.8 but it froze to the bit when the bias confrigration bit

Doesn't work on my Dell Laptop (e5500). I'm missing half of the interface...
(are you eating something or is that the keys?)

I can get mine to install and it will work for a while but after a few boots it takes me back to the install page.

@god2many VirtualBox only uses memory when it is running the vm, just like any other app, I guess.

Help? This kernel requires a x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot-please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.

@clonearmycustomsrulz There are 32 and 64-bit versions of VirtualBox. I think you need to download the other one ;-)

wonder if you could help me with this please.I have a screen resolution of 1440x 900 , i have looked in monitor preferences but it only goes up to 1360x 768 is there any other way i can alter the resolution please

@MrWaynemarshall make sure you have installed the VirtualBox Guest Additions.
This will allow you to go full screen.
