Snap-tite QuikXchange Excavator Coupling

Snap-tite has developed the QUIKXCHANGE Quick Disconnect Coupling specifically for Excavator Work Tools. The unit has a low pressure drop and will survive surge flow as well as pulsating hammer flow. The threaded drybreak design connects and disconnects without spillage, preventing introduction of dirt into the hydraulic system while easily connecting against trapped static pressure. My company was contracted to work an underground location of Louisville,KY We needed to utilize a couple of different tools 4 or 5 times per day using a Cat 330D. Our dealer suggested Snap-tite's quick disconnect coupler. We installed it and ran it 8 hrs. per day for 1-1/2 yrs racking up over 3000 hammer hours without failure using a Cat H160D hammer.This gives us another tool to maximize the return on my investment. Seeing is believeing. Until I installed a set of these on my 320D in August of 08. I've had nothing but bad expierences with quickdisconnects on my hammer applications. BUT THESE WORK!!! Although expensive they pay for themselves in time and increased machine hours very quickly.

My recommendation is try them you will be glad you did.

We do 4/5 tool changes every day and from what we saved in oil and machine repairs alone has more than paid for this addition.
