When the poor make up the majority and vote they simply vote to take other peoples money and you're then under the rules of the mob.
It's a huge problem and I don't pretend to have all the answers, but if thoughtful people put their heads together we can figure it out together. One area our government has failed us is in allowing monopolies.
Having a good understanding of the Declaration of Independence in order to vote would be a good start.

That is a very good question 123octopus, 10 years ago I might have had a different answer, today it might be a good idea just to let capitalist vote. If America wants to remain a capitalist country. There is a lot to be said about other forms of governments, Theocratic, Communist, Socialist etc... but having a mix of them sends mixed messages. Capitalism works great if we can take the corruption out of the capitol.
