@jwinn2001 Uniden is waiting for the FCC dicks to type accept the radio. then it will be released. probably a couple months give or take.

Anyone heard when the BC980 SSB is due to be released? I'm really eager to check it out.

Why use a 50a slug for the bird meter? won't that pick up the first harmonics at 54Mhz?

How big is the radio compared to a Uniden PC68? I'm with 39cummins on this, I would like to see the RFX on it if it can be done.

Its a sharp looking rig!!! 25 to 30 watts pep for an out of the box radio isnt bad at all!!!!!

i really want to see you put the rfx on that thing. i have one i put on my cobra 29ltd CHR and love it. i really like the look of this radio!!!

Every radio I have has been redone with new thermal compound... Even my newest radio I went thru and cleaned up all the factory thermal compound and put my own in it... My own lil insurance of knowing that their transferring heat properly...
