Did no one learn anything from the game? :P "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." just because you read somewhere the assassins were historically Muslim, doesn't mean it's true.
BESIDES: Does it even matter? It's just a video game.

"Nothing is true" is essentially a no-progress statement. If you believe the statement, then it negates the truth value of itself. Contradictions are illogical.

Well, really I only killed three-quarters, but if I remember correctly (wow, this was over 2 years ago) I probably used a map (guide) printed off the internet.
