Schweden: Hatz auf die Wölfe | Europa Aktuell

Lange standen Wölfe in Schweden unter Schutz. Nach 45 Jahren gab es jetzt zum ersten Mal wieder eine Wolfsjagd. Im Land brach ein regelrechtes Jagdfieber aus. Insgesamt wurden 27 Tiere zum Abschuss freigegeben,etwa 10 Prozent des Gesamtbestandes.12.000 Schützen beantragten eine Lizenz,2000 wurden am Ende zugelassen. Innerhalb weniger Tage waren alle Wölfe erlegt. Jetzt gibt es Kritik an den Jägern. Ein Viertel der Wölfe wurden nicht richtig getroffen und irrten schwer verletzt umher. Tierschützer fordern strenge Regeln,wie sie bei der Bären- und Elchjagd schon lange üblich sind.

If you're against the wolf hunt in Sweden you can write your name as a protest on this Swedish website, wich operates to preserve the big predators in our country.
