Richard was only 17 when he did 'Blow by Blow'! He chose not to tour the album as he felt he needed a rest at the time (he was busy with other projects), so Bernard Purdie stepped in for a month or so of touring with Beck. Richard did only a couple tracks on 'Wired', the bulk of the rest (as well as writing and even a bit of piano) being handled by current Beck drummer Narada Michael Walden. Richard would spend years with Incognito then move over to Stevie Winwood a couple or so years ago.

I knew about him by listening to Blow by Blow and Wired projects. He really played along perfectly there, really, very inspiring.

He played on Wired and Blow By Blow two masterpiece-album by Jeff Beck. I think IT IS ENOUGH to call him a Master!

oh wait a second.. at first glance it didn't look like him, but in the brief face shot in the clip it actually does look like him. So yeah it probably is Richard Bailey.
