When avery doesn't try and steal the spotlight he is a good, effective player. Chirping and his goonery can be effective, but not when you just try to make a spectacle of yourself.




Right now he has a respectable 12 points. he's doing fine for the role he is in. The only person in NY that should have the spotlight right now is Gaborik. And believe me, if avery stepped out of line, John Tortorella would slap him back in place.
