So I suggest you get YOUR facts straight before you start flapping YOUR flapping mouth. And you dont have any FACTS to support your comment that they are NOT in violation of state laws. I provided two (2) very important FACTS to show clear evidence they are in violation.
CONT: One (1). The city allowed ONLY 186 to remain open under its 2007 moratorium. However, hundreds of others opened in violation of the ban. And Two (2). Dispensaries are to operate as a non-profit business, but a lot of them are violating that law. Where are your facts? I dont see any? Ignorance is embarrassing sometimes isnt it?
Following police raids, a dozen of such dispensaries are being investigated by the district attorney's office, and is considering filing felony charges against one straddling the Los Angeles- Culver City line. There are an estimated 800 such dispensaries in the city of Los Angeles, of which the city allowed ONLY 186 to remain open under its 2007 moratorium. However, hundreds of others opened in violation of the ban. Motions to prosecute are now being submitted and approved.
Dispensaries in the city of Long Beach and the county of Los Angeles are in violation of the law. Under medical marijuana laws in the state of California, it clearly says Dispensaries are to operate as a non-profit business, but alot of them are violating that law, and now the District Attorney for both Los Angeles county and the city of Long Beach are in the pocess of filing motions to prosecute all those in violation. I was at the city hall's hearings, so there is nothing you can tell me.
no the city of long beach is not going to do this. and if they do, they will be sued. dispensaries are not in violation of state or city law. they are however in violation of federal law. but no the city police would not kick in the door with guns blazing. i sugest u get ur facts strait before you just start flapping ur mouth.
and do you know why? your simply repeading facts you heard. marijuana stays in your system for 20-30 days. thats how there able to spin that, and make it seem more dangerous. heroin and meth stay in your system for 3 days....you decide.
i know people who want it legalized seem irresponsible but dont let that get a bad image of people who use it because there not all looking to get high.
thats not the point at all. the goverment spends millions of our tax payer money to keep this drug off the streets and is failing. the prohibition puts this money into drug lords and illegal activity. This campaign to legalize marijuana is not just for stoners to get high easier. Marijuana can be used to treat cancer, depression, hepatitis, arthritis, schizophrenia and so much more. it is also the strongest natural fiber can be used to make cloths and rope.
