At 2:12 am, Dane County Deputies, along with Sun Prairie Fire and Blooming Grove-Burke-Maple Bluff EMS were dispatched to the Burke Station Tavern for a report of a structure fire. The Burke Station Tavern is located at 5291 Felland Road, in the Town of Burke. Sun Prairie Fire Department was assisted by the following fire departments: Cottage Grove, Marshall, Blooming Grove, Deerfield, Monona, Waterloo, Maple Bluff, McFarland, Dane County Regional Airport Fire, Columbus, Stoughton, Town of Madison, Waunakee, Dane, Fitchburg, and Deer-Grove and Sun Prairie EMS.
