Its nice and all, but you can do the same thing with some padded 2x4s and $5 worth of rope. Also please pay attention to were you place the pads on the roof. They should be much closer to the front and rear. That is were the cars rollover frame is. I've had mine closer towards the center and I've seen the roof start to bow in when I tighten the kayak down.
