@FdNy8231 its a state law all law enforement ems and fire equip have to have one blue light on the rear of the truck car or ambulance so that its more vissable at night and during the day as u can see its hard to see the red and white on a light bar

@fs46 A new NY State law requires all new Fire Vehicles to have blue lights on rear of rig to help with visibility at night. The new Dodge Ambulances also have blue lights due to the buses are owned by the FDNY

The blue lights look good...really stand out on the back of the rig.
