  • @rosehouse32 That I am not sure, but rose wine has a very strong rose smell. You may get that in some oriental markets.

    If I can find rose wine here I definitely will try it.

  • @markdipaolo cinnamon, Chinese liquorice, star anise, ginger, clove, scallion, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, rock sugar, rose wine.

  • @rosehouse32 Ding Hong is clove. And no, you can't sub the rose wine with other reg cooking wine because rose wing has an extreme strong smell of rose which is essential to this dish.
