  • this is one of the plone Demo video's

at anycase python solves most problems of mine , at anycase.

but then again I'm a systems admin , thus a few simple scripts do the job fine.

the nicety of python is I can push scipts one way yet get output targets of another.

Linux + MAC + Windows (map drives........ map printers .... this could be difficult yet it isnt as python can map drives and printers for all targets , as well as segment maps via os as O/S spec shares will be doable.

  • Python is scripts and simple programs, Java for bigger programs and simple games, C++ is for everything. Do not compare them. BTW. in Object programming programmer should NOT use = to set propety value. In Python it is possible to bind = oprtator to setter, ok. For me, python is more chaotic than Java and C + + for more complicated codes.
