Jazznesis
is Jaume Vilaseca's concept but only insrumental. There is a cd available.

I think Jazznesis translate very well the spirit of Genesis into jazz,
and even classical. It shows how the artist is close to that music.

This vocal arrangement was made without authorization of Jaume. I got
that silly feeling when I've listened to his version but I know he didn't play that for this purpose.

I might take the video out if he disagree with this, that's fair.

  • Oh boy, I feel stupid. Some1 on YouTube told me to read the "Info" before I ask a question. Sorry. I like what you guys have done. I like it. I'm a true to Genesis way thou....You are good.

  • The only thing you have to know is that you can buy this cd of course but there won't be this vocal version of the "box".

The reason is simple, I'm not part of that band and they don't even know me !

I'm a musician and when I played the cd I recorded my own vocals on it for fun.

I love what they did with the music of Genesis, I hope they'll like what I did with their.

    Have a nice day.

  • The instrumental recording is very nice, and you did a fine job respecting the feeling of the group. I too am a pianist and a fan of the early Genesis music; I appreciate that you didn't mix your vocal too loud. I think both your singing and harmonizing complement the piano rather than compete with it!

  • I'm going to have to find this. OMG Awesome!!!

  • I am Sergio, a Jaume's friend, piano player too. I am sure Jaume will enjoy this "espontaneous" sung version...because it is a great thing when people is interested on our work. I really like the Victor de Diego's lute playing on this tune.

  • This is one of my favourite Genesis componitions. Like the topographic gospel, you sang it great. I like your singing and how you produce the vocal harmonies. Congratulations

  • What album did you get this version of the song off of? I love this song... would really like to know where it came from, not on my CD's'
