thanks for ur positive post. I wish your friend the best. This song was almost me. And it does reflect the story of quite a few dear friends of mine, who didn't make it through the struggles of life. My prayers and heart goes out to her and her family. Take care.

Thanks for your nice words. I don't really know Tabs. The main riff is derived from a combo of the Dmajor & Bminor chord. Just use your 1st finger on the bnote on the 5th string and pick the top two strings from the D form and use descending and open strings to ascending to the Gmajor chord, with the melody of the chorus. The other chords, just pick out D,G,bmin,A. pick some connecting notes between the A and the Bminor for passing tones. I did it all by ear & I saw Brad doing the same thing

on a live version at the Old Grand Ole Opry. I was just learning the song when I recorded this, and trying to figure out how to do all this camera and downloading stuff. ...so sorry for the mistakes. I recorded it with capo on the 2nd fret, making it in the key of Emajor like Jon Randall does it..who co-wrote the song with "Whispering" Bill Anderson. Jon sang it on the Grand Ole Opry once after being introduced by Vince Gill as a friend of 20 years...what an honor, huh? Good luck man & thanks !!
