Bill Withers was the man back in the day. I new I'd have to try this one eventually.
I'm using a key of 'C' Hohner Special 20

Before anybody asks:
I play strictly by ear. I'm essentially a musical illiterate. Sorry, no tabs!

  • Don't listen to these untalented fuckheads. Anyone that can play a harp Half-decent is tops. May not be the "Best" version but you still rock for putting it up and putting it out there.

    Keep on harpin'

  • 5 stars>>polish is for shoes..when I can do better I will critisize but since I cant..job well done

  • @1RAVENGANG52 mate kokoro, aint selfish, hes one of the most giving blokes on the tube, listen to his stuff man, he dont know tabs, he plays his stuff from his soul, and he shares it with all of us, the guy rocks man.

  • @1RAVENGANG52 I don't even read tabs, so I'm not entirely sure I could competently transcribe them. As I mentioned in the description, I'm essentially a musical illiterate. It's also been 3 years since I played this one, so I'm a little fuzzy. I'm not the type to jealously hoard any sort of musical knowhow. I could probably get you started. I start with a C harp and I am pretty sure I start on a hole 1 draw and go to a 2hole bent draw. Practice all your draw bends on the first half of your harp

  • @1RAVENGANG52

I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to ask or articulate. Could you rephrase your question with maybe a few more words?

    Cheers!

  • @kokoro86 classic comeback

  • @kokoro86 I think he moves his head just to follow the rythm or change posture to blow or draw more powerfully, cause it becomes difficult when playing fast. However I'm just a beginner.

  • @estderoma

    Thanks for the video example.

Ironically, he moves both his head AND his hands in the video you cite.

Jason Ricci is definitely an elite-level blues harp player.

I always enjoy listening to his playing.

Do you play? I would love to hear you sometime.

    Cheers!
