  • Part 1

    Mace 1: Had an electric powered lifting ram.

    Mace 2: Had a Co2 powered front lifting ram,running at about 150psi.

    Mace 1: Had a very old Dudley wheelchair speed controller and motors,these were upgraded in Mace 2, also a bypass circuit was made so all battery power could be dumped straight to the motors and bypassing the speed controller when needed,this acted like a turbo boost.

  • Part 2

    Mace 1: had 2mm thick aluminium armor.

    Mace 2: had 3mm thick aluminium armor.

    These were the 3 main difrences hope this has been of help to you.

  • I have all of series 2,3,4 and 5 on vhs i recorded from bbc 2 when the show was first aired on tv.

  • The fight went to the end of the round, both robots were still mobile so the fight went to the judges
