@3submergedtrees You NEVER admit what you have done wrong to a cop. Cops always ask the classic "you know why I stopped you right?". The answer to that everytime is NO. If you say yes, he will write that down and use it in court, which is an automatic guilty sentence. You have a right not to bear witness against yourself guranteed by the bill of rights.

Playing dumb is the absolute wrong thing to do. Im a criminal justice major and know a lot of cops. If you get caught speeding and try to lie your way out of it like "oh I didnt realize I was speeding", you're getting a ticket. Cops don't want an idiot on the road that can't tell if they're speeding or not, and they don't like to be lied to. They much prefer honesty and aptitude. They will be more likely to let you off if you are intelligent enough to know you were speeding & are respectful

WOW this lady just told everyone to lie to the Court!!!! Yea go ahead and do that and see if you don't get your dumbass locked up for purjury over a 100 dollar ticket. Stupid Stupid Stupid. Also do not ask for a warning. All that does is make the Officer angry cause you think you should get away with what you did. You are better off letting him make his decision on his own. Just apologize for your infraction and be sincere or at least sound it and you will get your warning most of the time.
