    this movie was very revolutionary at its time because not many movies dealt with the subject of Gender confusion

    Oh memories... one of the first Anglo-Canadian movies that spoke to me (TV series "Road to Avonlea" was a Sunday evening tradition) since I came to Quebec, Canada in 1990. This movie left a mark on me and certainly shaped a little bit of my personality (gender bender, being yourself, strength, courage, etc.). So much water has passed under the bridge, but when I heard the famous tune "I'll find my way home", I just had nostalgic tears in my eyes. Twenty years ago... thanks for posting!
